Project Cross sections <br /> <br />OPINION OF PROBABLE COSTS <br /> <br />Once the alternative has been selected and construction plans and construction documents are completed, <br />an opinion of the probable costs shall be prepared to compare with the bid proposals submitted by the <br />contractors. Our key personnel are seasoned professionals whose experience exceeds textbook design. <br />We maintain a database of historical costs assembled from our extensive involvement in public works <br />projects. We actively collect cost information in order to continuously update our data. We apply these unit <br />price costs to estimated quantities to arrive at preliminary estimate of construction costs, It should include <br />) all the major items of construction and consider the complexity of the construction, <br /> <br />SPECIFICATIONS <br /> <br />Once design and construction plans are completed, project specifications shall be prepared as part of the <br />construction documents to be presented for bidding phase, The Contractor must prepare the bid based on <br />construction plans and construction documents. We intend to use the Florida Department of Transportation <br />and Miami-Dade County guidelines for the specifications of this project. <br /> <br />5. PERMITTING <br /> <br />RJ Behar has extensive experience with the preparation of permit application packages for the South <br />Florida Water Management Department (SFWMD) and Miami Dade County DERM. <br /> <br />This project will require the following surface water related permits: <br /> <br />~ Environmental Resource Permit (ERP) (individual permit if wetlands are affected) and Class I and II <br />Permit with DERM. <br />~ Water Use with SFWMD and Class V with DERM for dewatering activities, <br />~ National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit from the Florida Department of <br />Environmental Protection (FDEP). <br />~ Class V Injection well permit with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. <br />~ Dredging Permit from USACOE (for new outfall headwalls). <br />~ City of Sunny Isles Building Permit <br /> <br />rra.....
