<br />EXPERIENCE
<br />Mr. Compel has over 9 years of experience in the construction of civil engineering and site development
<br />projects. He has served as project construction administrator and project engineer for various drainage,
<br />water, sewer, underground electrical, and industrial projects. His experience in construction service has
<br />allowed him to effectively deliver projects satisfying all owner requirements. Responsibilities during
<br />construction include permitting, review of scheduling, and overall cost analysis. He is proficient at various
<br />software packages including Microsoft Project, MBR (SFWMD Multi-Basin Routing Software),
<br />Flowmaster, AutoCAD, AutoTUI11 and EaglePoint. Some of his project experience includes:

<br />. Village of Key Biscayne Redevelopment of Gravity Drainage Wells, Key Biscayne, Florida - This
<br />project involved the cleaning, rehabilitation, and redevelopment of 30 existing gravity drainage wells
<br />located throughout the Village. Responsibilities included inspections, management, and conducting
<br />testing at each well to ensure expected discharge capacity was achieved. The work was funded by a grant
<br />from the South Florida Water Management District.

<br />. NW 82nd Avenue Improvements, Doral, Florida - Project Manager and Construction Administrator
<br />for this project which included the study, design, and construction administration of various
<br />improvements on NW 82nd A venue from NW 12th Street to NW 25th Street. It consisted of milling and
<br />resurfacing, sidewalk and curb and gutter replacement and reconstruction, handicap ramp replacement,
<br />and drainage work including the installation of exfiltration trenches, concrete manholes and solid pipes.
<br />The project also involved the repair of damaged asphalt around existing manholes, valves, and above
<br />existing drainage trenches and crossings. The final design also included pavement markings and signage.

<br />. VilIagewide Drainage Improvements, Palmetto Bay, Florida - Construction Administrator for this
<br />project which involved drainage improvements at 10 locations throughout the Village of Palmetto Bay.
<br />These 10 areas were identified by the Village as having flooding problems. The improvements included
<br />new drainage structures, exfiltration trenches, outfalls, and asphalt overlays. The project was completed
<br />on schedule and under budget.
<br />
<br />. South Miami Downtown Improvements, South Miami, Florida - Construction Administrator and
<br />Project Designer for these improvements within the South Miami Downtown area. The improvements
<br />consisted of the design, permitting, and construction of streetscape improvements including watermain
<br />extensions, new French drains, new wide pedestrian friendly sidewalks, irrigation, lighting, and
<br />landscaping. These updated systems were vital to allow the downtown area to develop and expand.
<br />Responsibilities during construction included coordination with local merchants to minimize impact of
<br />construction on their business.

<br />. Village of Key Biscayne Zones 1 & 4 Water Main and Sanitary Sewer Replacement, Key Biscayne,
<br />Florida - Construction Manager responsible for the construction administration for this project that
<br />includes the construction of sanitary sewers, manholes, existing pump station upgrades and modifications,
<br />lateral connections, fire hydrants, water main replacement including valves and appUlienances, and
<br />roadway/right-of-way restoration, and other related work as shown on the plans.

<br />. Village of Key Biscayne Zones 2 & 3 Reclaimed Water & Line Replacement Sanitary Sewer, Key
<br />Biscayne, Florida - Director of Construction Services responsible for the construction administration for
<br />this project that includes the construction of sanitary sewers, manholes, existing pump station upgrades
<br />and modifications, lateral connections, fire hydrants, water main replacement including valves and
<br />appurtenances, and roadway/right-of-way restoration, and other related work as shown on the plans. In
<br />addition to observing the on-going work, digital pictures were taken at almost every visit to record the
<br />project progress.
<br />
<br />. Pinecrest Watermain Master Plan and System Design, Pinecrest, Florida - Project Manager and
<br />Construction Administrator for the installation of over 12 miles of watermain infrastructure throughout
<br />the Village. This two phase project provided potable water to over 550 properties previously connected to
<br />individual private wells. This successful project also included the implementation of a system to allow
<br />each homeowner to select the best location for their new water meter.
<br />
<br />. Golden Beach Capital Improvements Program, Golden Beach, Florida - Construction Administrator
<br />for this comprehensive Capital Improvements Program Master Plan that focuses on several major
<br />improvement areas: town-wide drainage improvements; utilities underground relocation (electrical,
<br />telephone, cable); and town-wide streetscape & traffic calming. The Master Plan carefully considered
<br />each of these with respect to feasibility, costlbenefit, and design, as well as an analysis of funding options
<br />and scenarios, and schedule for phasing and implementation.
