Conduct review in accordance with established criteria, engineering principles, and normal construction practices to produce a written report in a prescribed format. Coordinate reviews with the SFWMD, FDEP, and/or County agencies. Expedite the reviews of sensitive applications on request. Conduct site visits, pre-application meetings, track licensed projects through FOXPRO database applications, and advise on matters in addition to surface water management license applications as necessary such as conflict resolutions, and responding to surface water quality and flooding complaints. Initiate progressive enforcement actions for violations of the Broward County Code. Participate in division budget process for each fiscal year. Conducted license application fee comparison study within the tri-county area including Hillsboro County. Supervise a staff of four employees; two engineers and two inspectors.
