Juan Castro Thomas Ferguson PROJECT DESCRIPTION: ~ ] Construction Inspection Services Project for Miami-Dade County (Public Works and DERM) beginning in May of 2006 through October of 2007, We were responsible for supplying engineering and construction inspection services to the County, as needed, on its roadway and drainage improvement construction projects, We were responsible for providing and supervising six (6) full-time on-site construction inspectors and one (1) supervisor for the duration of the construction. The construction projects consisted mostly of roadway reconstruction and drainage improvement projects throughout the County. Our scope of services included overseeing, coordinating and inspecting the work of design consultants, surveyors and construction contractors. Responsibilities also included monitoring, record keeping, approving and recommending requisitions for payments, review of change orders, estimations, claims, scheduling, shop drawings and remedial designs, Responding to request for information (RFI), and assuring compliance with construction documents.
