'1 o Consulting Engineering & Science, Inc, J are complete; after which only local building permits will need to be secured to begin construction, Task 5: Bidding & Award () During this task, the CES Team will assist City staff as necessary in preparing the final Bid Packag~; and, will attend a Pre-Bid Conference, resRond to Reguests for Information (RFI) during the bid process, assist in the receipt and review of the bids, tabulate the bids, assist in developing a Schedule of Values and assist with the formal award of the Contracts, o Task 6: Administration () The CES Team will provide administration services to the City throughout the duration of this contract. These Administration services typically include attendance to all meetings scheduled and preparation of meeting minutes; review of all shop drawings related to the work as designated in the construction documents; in-house responses to questions posed by the City, property owners, regulatory agencies with regards to the permit applications or suppliers to clarify the intent of the construction documents; and preparation of close-out documents. I ( ) Proiect Scheduling Id In addition to the above tasks, the CES Team is aware of the importance of keeping track of the project schedule, milestones and deliverables of the project. The CES Team will prepare a project schedule which will include schedules of meetings to be held (with the City, various agencies, etc,), 30%, 60% and 100% completion of construction plans, coordination meetings with utility companies, early and anticipated finish along with a critical path. The project schedule will be updated bi-weekly with key decision points during the design process. City RFP No, 11-11-02 27
