Initial construction cost estimates will be prepared in
this task, which will be continually updated as the design developments, and final design,
proceed.

)

The design will incorporate all relevant Florida Building Codes (FBC), Florida
Department of Transportation (FDOT) standards, Miami-Dade standards, and other
applicable Federal or State standards.

Task 3: Permitting

)

Having held initial meetings with each of the applicable regulatory agencies in Task 2,
the actual permitting stage of the project will commence somewhere during the Design
Development task, at a point where the major components of the project have been
established. Necessary permit applications will be prepared, along with accompanying
sketches and suppOliing data; and, these applications will be submitted as early as is
practical. Once submitted, each agency typically has a different schedule or procedure
that they follow for review. Construction (technical) specifications
will be prepared to be incorporated with the City's standard front-end documents. These
drawings and specifications will be such that the entire project can be permitted and
constructed. It is understood that there will be project reviews at various milestones in
the Construction Documents task; and, the submittal for each milestone will include an
updated construction cost estimate.
