The engineering <br />services included a complete storm drainage <br />system, a roundabout to replace an existing <br />traffic signal, traffic calming devices, landscape <br />and streetscape enhancement, utility <br />coordination and relocation, and full roadway <br />reconstruction. The main Project objective was <br />to discourage truck traffic and redirect cut <br />through traffic from NE 38th Street to alternate <br />routes between Andrews Avenue and NE 11th <br />Avenue. This project required permit approvals <br />from Broward County Environmental Protection <br />Department (EPD), and the City of Oakland Park <br />Public Works and Engineering and Community <br />Development Departments. <br /> <br />This project will utilize grant funding for <br />construction.
