(CTA) was founded in 1961 and incorporated on
January 1, 1962 as an engineering and surveying firm dedicated primarily to serving the
needs of private sector clients in the rapid growth area of South Florida. Our office is within
a 30-minute drive to Sunny Isles Beach and is located at 3563 N.W. 53rd Street in Fort
Lauderdale, Florida. We can be reached at (954) 739-6400. Over the past fifty years,
Craven Thompson & Associates, Inc. (CTA) has grown into a multi-disciplinary firm
comprised of specialized teams each fully staffed with top caliber professional and support
personnel, serving clients in both the public and private sectors. CTA is proud of the
accomplishments of its staff and the firm's ability to meet difficult challenges.

The firm is currently engaged in public infrastructure / roadway design and construction
administration projects for governmental agencies in addition to large to moderate sized
land development projects containing commercial, industrial and residential elements. The
firm has prepared and processed two significant Development of Regional Impact
applications, from the preparation of the ADA through issuance of the Development Order,
and has assisted on several others. As regulatory activity on environmental issues has
increased over the years, so has the extent of our experience in addressing permit,
mitigation and planning requirements. Our surveying capabilities cover the full spectrum of
plat preparation, geometric computations, title work and exhibit preparation, together with
land and bathymetric surveys and construction stakeout.

The firm is dedicated to providing quality and timely professional services. We implement
that dedication by selecting qualified personnel and by supplying the best available
equipment to accomplish the tasks. We have a fully implemented Computer Aided Drafting
(CAD.) system for drawing production and a complete array of surveying and engineering
software to expedite computations and estimating.

Our experience includes the design and construction of over 6,000 acres of neighborhood
improvements in Broward County, including the South County Neighborhood Improvement
Project (1,400 acres), Central County Neighborhood Improvement Project (1,800 acres),
North Central County Neighborhood Improvement Project (950 acres) and the North County
Neighborhood Improvement Projects (1,660 acres), portions of which are in the City of
Deerfield Beach, as well as Utility Analysis Zones (895 acres). All of these projects included
surveying, studies, modeling, cost estimating, design drawings, technical specifications and
construction management for the replacement of existing infrastructure and the
construction of new roadways, water, sewer, drainage, and landscaping. These projects
started with a Basis of Design Report that addressed the infrastructure needs of the
community and this report was then used as a guideline for future design and construction
activities. These projects required extensive community outreach programs which informed
the public as to the status of the project and worked with property owners to address their
concern. CTA staff attends many homeowner and business association meetings to present
the project status to the residents and answer questions. The challenge of this type of work
lies in designing improvements that can be constructed in existing neighborhoods and
business areas: residents and service providers must have access at all times and existing
utilities must stay in service during construction. We have accomplished this on everyone
of our Neighborhood Projects.

CRAVEN THOMPSON & ASSOCIATES, INC.
ENGINEERING - SURVEYING - LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE - PLANNING

111
