TEAM APPROACH P&A has put together a team that is structured to support major design efforts. Accordingly, our staffing chart identifies task leaders for the major categories of work, such as traffic engineering and roadway plan preparation. Derrick Lewis PE was selected to serve as the Team's Project Manager and the point of contact for the City's Project Manager because of his many years of experience developing construction documents for the public sector and his project management proven skills. His style of project management promotes and strives for the delivery of a quality product, in a timely manner, and within budget. The P&A Team has worked together on previous projects. Our staffing chait also shows P&A's management structure. The Team's Project Manager will be supported by Carlos H. Perez, PE, who will be responsible for the implementation of the proposed QA/QC Plan. He will lead and coordinate the review efforts prior to submittals to the Depaltment. As Officer-In-Charge, Carlos H. Perez, PE in addition to overseeing the implementation of the QA/QC Plan, will ensure that resources are always available and that the Project Manager has the authority to allocate them to the project. The Officer-In-Charge will also be available to the City's management, as required. P&A's Project Manager will take a team approach for this project and will use the Project Work Plan (PWP), developed at the beginning of the project, as a road map to make sure that there is communication between all members of the team, that our proposed schedules are being met, that the project does not exceed the construction budget, and most important, that a quality product is achieved. The success of any project lies in the effective implementation of a well thought out management plan. Utilization of the best qualified professionals and the non-compromising SUPPOlt of upper management are key elements of this plan. The technical qualifications and experience of the staff assigned to the project must match the requirements of the project. C H Perez and Associates has always delivered qualified and committed staff to assignments. P&A is a full-service engineering firm, providing planning, design, traffic engineering, surveying, and construction management services. The firm has been in the transportation infrastructure business for over 6 years in South Florida providing services to public agencies. Also shown on this chart is their current availability to work on this project.
