Hines
City Clerk
CTY or SUN P 0
January 27, 2004
To Whom It May Concern:
RE: Golden Shores Drainage and Street Improvements
Dear Sir or Madam:
I would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation to Beiswenger, Hoch and
Associates, Inc. (BH&A), for their work on our Golden Shores Stormwater Improvement
Project. Throughout the planning, design, bidding, and construction supervision stages,
which uncovered many unknowns over a several month period, BH &A's staff always carne
through. They constantly kept the City's best interest in mind by scrutinizing the actual
work, change orders, and scheduling.
The Golden Shores proj ect was a significant one, in that we used state -of -the -art technology
to line over 8,960 L.F. of storm drainpipes. The project was completed in 2002, at' /z of one
percent over budget, which is almost unheard of for a project of this magnitude
($3,450,000). This was the City's most ambitious project to date, and BH&A
accomplished it with minimal disruption to our residents.
The staff of Beiswenger, Hoch and Associates, Inc. is most diligent and worthy of our
praise, and I think the fact that we have retained BH &A to solve the remaining stormwater
issues in the rest of the City says it all.
Very truly yours,
Christopher J.
