Camara <br />Village Clerk <br /> <br />Dear Ms. Hines & Selection Committee Members: <br /> <br />The Village of Biscayne Park has implemented a process that collects past performance information on various <br />Consultants that perform Engineering Services. This information is being provided to assist the City of Sunny <br />Isles Beach in the selection process for its Request for Qualifications for Civil Engineering Services to Design <br />Street and Drainage Improvements (RFQ No. 11-11-02). Please be advised that A&P Consulting <br />Transportation Engineers (APCTE) was responsible for the design of the following projects: <br /> <br />Village of Biscayne Park Drainage Improvements <br />The project consists of the construction of a new drainage system for several sites that reported flooding due to <br />poor grading and the lack of drainage systems. These areas or sites are located in the Village of Biscayne <br />Park, in Miami-Dade County, Sections 29, 30, 31 and 32. Township 52 South, Range 42 East, and include: <br /> <br />\ <br />~ <br /> <br />. NE 8 Ave. from NE 115 STto NE 117 ST (Site B) <br />. NE 116 ST from NE 8 Ave. to NE 10 Ave. (Site C) <br />. NE 9 CT from NE 109 ST to NE 115 ST (Site D). Already constructed. <br />. NE 108 ST from NE 9 Ave. to NE 109 ST (Site E) <br />. N.E. 9th Ave. from N.E. 113th Street to N.E. 115th Street (Site G) <br /> <br />Proposed Drainage System was based on French drains and new catch basins that will convey the runoff <br />generated by these sites into the proposed French drains. It should be noted that baffles are being proposed all <br />structure for capture any floating debris. <br /> <br />My evaluation for this project is as follows (based on scale of 1-10): <br />.
