The services contemplated are professional in nature. It is understood that the selected Consultant is of a professional status, licensed to perform in the State of Florida and licensed for all applicable professional discipline(s) requiring licenses, All qualification and proposal information shall be provided under this RFP. 3.2 PROJECT GENERAL REOUIREMENTS A, Scope of Services If Consultant is approved under this RFP to provide services, said scope must include the following: 1. Introduction describing the service 2. Project limits 3. Description of Consultant duties and responsibilities of other agencies 4. Description of deliverables, including a list of drawings and specifications by phase 5. Cost estimations 6. Project schedule 7. Cost details and break-out B. Meetings The Consultant will be required to attend and/or update the City regularly. Such meetings will be held at the City. Minutes of all meetings must be prepared by the Consultant and submitted to all those in attendance, C. Design Standards The design standards shall incorporate ALL relevant Florida Building Codes C'FBC"), Florida Department of Transportation C'FDOT") Standards, CNMB standards, City of Sunny Isles Beach Standards and requirements, and Miami Dade County Standards where applicable and necessary and any other applicable Federal or State Standard, Regulations, or Requirements. D, Estimates The Consultant is responsible for the preparation of a cost estimate for construction. Cost estimates must be in unit prices. The estimate MUST be an Engineer's Estimate of Cost which will be used as the basis for evaluation of bid tabulations from prospective bidders at the time of Construction Bid. If the apparent low bid is more than 10% over the Engineer's estimate of Cost, the City retains the right to request that Consultant to redesign and resubmit the project at no additional cost to the City.
