<br /> <br />Section 3 <br />Scope of Services 1 Technical Specifications <br /> <br />3.1 SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, (the "City") a municipality located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, <br />seeks Statement of Qualifications / Proposal ("RFQ") responses from interested licensed firms or licensed <br />individual ("Consultants") to submit relative qualifications and proposal for consideration for the <br />development of site plans and survey for the placement of a temporary 24'x56' trailer to be located under <br />SR 856 ("Lehman Causeway''). <br /> <br />This RFP is for the 100% complete design development and permit running to allow for the approval and <br />installation of a trailer as provided in the attachment. The consultant shall be required to perform the <br />following tasks: <br /> <br />1. Obtain a site survey with sufficient information to allow for the proper placement of a temporary <br />trailer with all pertinent and required information as required by the Agencies Having Jurisdiction <br />("AHJ''). <br />2. Provide a design that includes an electrical service drop and riser diagram (as necessary) that <br />would meet not only the demands of the trailer but some offsite elements and equipment. <br />Complete service necessary may be required at 400amps. The City currently has an existing <br />service drop that may need to be modified and upgraded. Field verification required (see <br />attachment). <br />3, Provide a 100% permissible design that includes City of North Miami Beach ("CNMB'') <br />requirements for water service. CNMB has permit requirements that must be provided in the <br />design and information on service connection points, backflows, and water meters and boxes. <br />Consultant shall provide sufficient information to ensure that the trailer receives water service in <br />accordance with applicable standards and regulations from ALL AHJ. <br />4, Provide a design that includes a temporary holding tank for sanitary sewer. The Consultant shall <br />ensure that all design requirements are provided in accordance with applicable standards and <br />that it meets the requirements of Miami Dade County agencies having jurisdiction, <br />5. Consultant shall contact all other utility providers (i.e. AT&T, and FPL) to establish points of <br />connection and service requirements, and develop the 100% design plans for approval and <br />permitting. The City intends on having at least 8 phone lines and a T1 line; however, the final <br />number will be discussed at the time of design. <br />6. Provide a 100% design inclusive of all notations necessary to ensure that the Contractors <br />performing the services have sufficient information to proVide the necessary installations, Any <br />and all comments provided by any AHJ shall be addressed by the Consultant at no cost to the <br />City. <br />7. The City will REIMBURSE, impact fees, <br />8. The Florida Department of Transportation ("FDOT'') has jurisdiction over all improvements that <br />occur under the Causeway.
