Existing Traffic Volumes <br />Trip Distribution: The trip distribution for traffic generated by the Day Care Facility was determined based upon the <br />conservative assumption that 100% will be originated at Collins Avenue at NE 174th Street as the main intersection. <br />The current percentage of turning movements entering and exiting the study area were determined in order to <br />develop the distribution of the generated traffic at that specific location. <br />26% <br />+3 <br />38% <br />+5) <br />62% <br />(+7) <br />Intersection Level of Service (LOS) Analysis: The operating conditions were analyzed for study intersection that could be <br />affected by the new use. The analysis utilizes Trafficware's SYNCHRO Software, which applies <br />methodologies outlined in the Highway Capacity Manual, 2000 Edition.
