CANNON <br />T&M PROTECTION RESOURCES <br />SENIOR CONSULTANT <br /> <br />Role onn Project - Subject Mattet Expert: Security <br /> <br />SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS <br />After more than twenty-five years of progressively responsible and diverse administration within the New <br />Yotk City Police Department; Mr. Cannon retired on June 30", 2006 as an Assistant Chief. Since that time he <br />has been performing consulting work on projects requiring hi, expertise in areas including police <br />management and crime conttol, public safety, school and campus security, counter-ten:orism, high threat <br />environment security, concept of operatioos(con-ops) protocols, CiIlergcocy management, guard force <br />management, traffic analysis and control. He is also an experienced trainer, having created curriculum aad <br />instructing for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in jwisdictioIls throughout the nation on <br />criticallncident response, post-911 and for police entrance and promotional exams for Police Tutorial <br />Services. <br /> <br />During Mr. Canoon's NYPD career he was in comruaod of three Precincts (81st, 32nd, 75th) the <br />Communications Division and the Traffic Control Division and was Executive Officer of Patrol Borough <br />Queens North and Brooklyn Detectives. These especially, and his other assignments provided extensive <br />experience in successful special event planning~ management and operational implementation as well as <br />security, emergency preparedness and disaster response contingency and recovery planning. lacluded in this <br />area of experience was the pIaoning and overseeing police operations for the 2004 Republican N atioml <br />Convention, the United Nations General Assembly. events at Shea Stadium, the U.S. Tennis Open, the NYC <br />MID-athon, the NYC blackout and transit strike.
