<br /> <br />Section 3 <br />Scope of Services 1 Technical Specifications <br /> <br />3.0 SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />Acoustic Engineering Consulting Services necessary to provide an assessment of and a solution to <br />mitigate the noise emanating from the Town Center Skate Park in Sunny Isles Beach during <br />operating hours. <br /> <br />Review Kimley-Horn & Associates, Inc Noise Assessment Report, dated April 1, 2011 (8 <br />pages) <br /> <br />Review existing community noise ordinances for their requirements <br /> <br />Take noise level measurements at the existing Skate Park at sufficient times and durations <br />to ascertain the problem-Note activity at park during readings (# of active skaters). <br />Measurements to include readings at peak usage times (e.g. Saturday 4-6 pm). <br /> <br />Provide computer modeling of existing conditions and possible solutions. Provide cost <br />estimates for alternate solutions <br /> <br />Provide analysis of noise transmitted to adjacent sites and recommendation of how to <br />control <br /> <br />Review existing Skate Park and provide recommendations, if applicable, of how <br />modifications to the Park will decrease noise levels <br /> <br />Upon completion of acoustic study evaluate and report on the feasibility of acoustic <br />barrier system or enclosure to help acoustic conditions, and provide Rough Order of <br />Magnitude (ROM) Estimates <br /> <br />Prepare detailed construction drawings for permit and bidding once solution has been <br />accepted <br /> <br />Provide material specifications for acoustic treatments <br /> <br />Meetings, presentations and site visits necessary <br /> <br />Assist the City with preparation of Contractor RFP <br /> <br />Assist the City with preparation of cost estimates <br /> <br />Assist the City with construction administration <br /> <br />Prepare final record documents <br /> <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach I Request for Proposal No. 12-04-03 <br /> <br />
