Responsible for conceptual, budgetary, preliminary, and final cost <br />estimates. Experience encompasses labor cost analyses, materials cost analyses, economic evaluations, <br />contract administration, and change order estimating. Extensive experience with operation of the U.S. Army <br />Corps of Engineers' Second Generation Mil software, PC-Cost, Micro Computer-Aided Cost Estimating <br />System (MCACES), Parametric Cost Estimating System (PACES) and SUCCESS Estimator. <br /> <br />G311 Redesign; South Florida Water <br />Management District; Palm Beach County, FL, <br />US--Cost Estimator responsible for cost estimating <br />quantity take off and MCACES cost estimate <br />Stanley Consultants updated the design and <br />contract documents of a previously designed bi- <br />directional 3-bay spillway structure located on the <br />western edge of Stormwater Treatment Area (ST A) <br />1 East, that and connects the L-4 Canal to ST A 1 <br />West as part of in the Everglades restoration effort. <br />Relocation of the structure required raising the <br />structure walls and service bridge, and a complete <br />redesign of the site plan. The bi-directional weir <br />was changed from a trapezoidal shape to an ogee <br />shape and the roller gates were redesigned for <br />stainless steel rather than the previous carbon <br />steel. All the contract drawings were redone to <br />incorporate new client standards, and the <br />specifications were developed from the client's <br />master guide specifications. Services included <br />structural design, redesign of the vertical lift gates, <br />hydraulic and mechanical design of roller gates to <br />replace aging sluice gates, tie-back levees, inflow <br />canal, extension of an existing borrow canal, cost <br />estimates, specifications and construction phasing. <br /> <br /> <br />G161 Phase 1; South Florida Water Management <br />District; North Palm Beach, FL, US--Cost <br />Estimator responsible for cost estimating quantity <br />take off and MCACES cost estimate. <br />This study considered methods of routing water <br />from the City of West Palm Beach Water <br />Catchment Area to the mouth of the C-18 canal. <br />The Phase 1 portion of the project involved <br />gathering survey and geo tech data, and initial <br />coordination with all stakeholders. Phase 2 included <br />an alternatives study that considered a cost <br />comparison of different alternatives.
