The plan reflects the historic forms of the original public garden and <br />provides the grand promenade lined with Coconut Palms which link the Bass museum <br />with the Atlantic Ocean. <br /> <br />Renovations of the existing park included landscaping, irrigation, lighting, hardscape <br />improvements, street furniture; and restoration of the 'Rotunda' building, a 1960's <br />vintage building clad in sand cast concrete panels designed by artist Albert Vrana, <br />Renovations of the existing parking lot on the east end of the park included new <br />landscaping, irrigation, lighting, and proposed hardscape improvements.
