This became the project focus of AECOM's 19th Annual Summer Student Program (SSP), in which 14 students from seven countries participated. Based on the vision of the SSP Program, AECOM was hired by the City to provide professional landscape architecture and engineering services for Phase 1 of the Indian Creek Greenway Project from the south limits of Lake Pancoast, just north of 23rd Street, to the 29th Street pedestrian bridge. -""'"--~;:.::';:'l.~...' ~j\ AJ''1.1 ~~,~"~". ~~ ~:;\" .it The tasks assigned to AECOM for this project included the preparation of conceptual designs of the Indian Creek Greenway in order to create public plazas as well as pedestrian access to the Indian Creek Waterway and also tying into a pedestrian circulation network for the Oceanfront neighborhood that will provide connections between Indian Creek and the Ocean. Other tasks included the preparation of topographic and hydrographic surveys, and conducting an environmental resource inventory of the Indian Creek Waterway.
