<br />Mr. Santana is a motivated and resourceful designer who
<br />has been extensively involved in master planning, site and
<br />detail design, construction administration and project
<br />management on a variety of large and small scale projects
<br />including commercial, residential, educational, riverwalk
<br />and streetscape design. He has worked closely in providing
<br />clients with community and campus master plans, utilizing
<br />a full range of planning and design resources to manage
<br />change and improve quality of life.

<br />Brickell Parks, Miami, FL
<br />CLIENT: The Related Group
<br />Landscape Designer. Conceptual landscape design and
<br />planning for Brickell Park and the Miami Circle Park at the
<br />mouth of the Miami River.
<br />
<br />One Miami Riverwalk Extension, Miami, FL
<br />CLIENT: The Related Group/City of Miami
<br />Project Designer / Project Manager. Landscape, hardscape
<br />design and construction administration for a public
<br />Riverwalk at the mouth of the Miami River in conjunction
<br />with a multi-use, multi-story, office, residential and
<br />entertainment complex.

<br />Duval County Courthouse, Jacksonville, FL
<br />Project Designer/Project Manager. Responsibilities include
<br />coordination with design team, City site engineering, site
<br />lighting, surface water management and utility design as
<br />well as incorporating City of Jacksonville Design Guidelines.
<br />This project included all aspect of the public realm within
<br />a historically preserved governmental facility and the
<br />challenges of incorporating new design guidelines on a
<br />historic site. Managed and responsible for all components
<br />
<br />of project from planning/design to construction
<br />administration.

<br />Mound House Master Plan and Landscape Plan, Town of
<br />Fort Myers Beach, FL
<br />Project Designer/Project Manager. Responsibilities include
<br />coordination with design team, City Parks and Public
<br />Works Department, site engineering, and construction
<br />inspections. This project included the installation and
<br />design of a master plan and landscape architectural
<br />restoration of the early-20th century Mound House that
<br />balances archaeological resources, aesthetics, and
<br />interpretive goals through a design that is both sustainable
<br />and inviting for the general public. Managed and
<br />res~onsible for all components of project from planning/
<br />design to certification and occupancy.

<br />Project Designer/Project Manager. Responsibilities
<br />include coordination with site engineering, County Parks
<br />Department, and DERM. This project included xeriscape
<br />landscape with a butterfly garden theme, passive
<br />recreational uses for both children and adults within
<br />a 5 acre urban park. Managed and responsible for all
<br />components of project from planning to certification and
<br />occupancy.

<br />Project Designer/Project Manager. Responsibilities include
<br />coordination with County Parks Department, the Miami-
<br />Dade County Fair & Expo, and the South Florida Water
<br />Management District in developing a useable waterway,
<br />gateway, and open space master plan that is both
<br />functional and aesthetically pleasing for Fair and Expo
<br />events as well as everyday use and function of the regional
<br />park. Managed and responsible for all components of
<br />project.

<br />Tree Islands Park, Miami-Dade County, FL
<br />Project Designer/Project Manager. Develop a general plan
<br />for a 120-acre new district park in western Miami-Dade
<br />County, including 70 acres of wetland prairie and hardwood
<br />tree island delineation and restoration to be preserved and
<br />made accessible as a nature preserve. The 50-acres of
<br />upland to accommodate a variety of recreational facilities.
