The complex also includes parking for <br />375 cars. <br /> <br />Clay County Courthouse Expansion & Renovation, Green <br />Cove Springs, FL <br />Electrical Engineer for a 4-story 89,000 square feet addition <br />to the existing courthouse to include four new state of <br />the art courtrooms, prisoner holding cells, eight judicial <br />chambers, and consolidated offices for the Clerk of Court, <br />as well as building support spaces. Renovation work <br />in the existing 74,000 square feet courthouse included <br />the redesign of the State Attorney, Public Defender, and <br />miscellaneous court support space. <br /> <br />Collier County Courthouse Annex, Naples, FL <br />Electrical Engineer. The Courthouse Annex consists of <br />a seven story, 137,000 square feet addition linked to the <br />existing courthouse by a new four story atrium. The Annex <br />houses the offices for the Clerk of Court, State Attorney, <br />and Public Defender. A generous four story high atrium <br />connects the two wings and allows for a gracious public <br />space within the building. <br /> <br />Telefonica, Miami, FL <br />Electrical Engineer. The 45,000 square feet, Phase I of this <br />project was for Telefonica Data and is located within a two- <br />building 170,000 square feet complex. The overall concept <br />of the telecommunications hotel is to lease the technology <br />equipped space and/or the computer server equipment <br />located at the 'hotel' to host individual web sites. <br /> <br />Broward County, Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International <br />Airport Rental Car Facility and Parking Garage, Fort <br />Lauderdale, FL <br />An on-site 9-story, 9,000-car, 4.3-million-square- <br />foot facility to accommodate a full-range of rental car <br />concessions for up to 12 companies with additional short- <br />and long-term visitor parking. The facility was designed to <br />work in conjunction with the airport transportation systems <br />and traffic patterns, to provide quick and convenient access <br />for airport visitors. The design also includes a peoplemover <br />transit station that will be connected to a future intermodal <br />complex. The design includes complex negotiations and <br /> <br />coordination with authorities having jurisdiction to allow for <br />indoor fueling. <br /> <br />Nashville-Davidson County, Justice A.A. Birch Courthouse <br />and Ben West Building Renovation, Nashville, TN <br />AECOM, in association with another firm, was selected to <br />provide complete design services for the construction of <br />a new 237,204-square-foot courts facility and renovation <br />of the adjacent 39,400-square-foot Ben West building. The <br />6-story courthouse houses the criminal court components <br />of the Nashville-Davidson County court system. These <br />include 16 courtrooms and chambers, sheriff's central <br />holding facilities, jury assembly, the general sessions and <br />trial court clerk of Court offices, and other administrative <br />and support space. <br /> <br />Cayman International School, K-12, Grand Cayman, British <br />West Indies <br />The K-12 private educational facility accommodates <br />approximately 500 students on a 9-acre campus. <br />The building program includes 32 classrooms; three <br />independent lab buildings; a combined administration and <br />library building; and a multipurpose building for auditorium, <br />gym, and dining functions. Each of the 2-story classroom <br />buildings defines a specific age group (early development, <br />elementary, middle, and high school). Landscaped <br />courtyards between buildings provide passive and active <br />play areas, as well as opportunities for outdoor teaching. <br />A covered walkway connects all the classroom buildings. <br />Recreational spaces include playing fields, hard courts, and <br />swimming pool. <br /> <br />Simon Property Group, Downtown Dadeland, Miami, FL <br />Carved from existing anonymous strip shopping centers, <br />the new village within the city consists of seven new city <br />blocks in a traditional urban grid. The project features 416 <br />condominium units in buildings up to seven stories high <br />and 112,000 leasable square feet of retail neighborhood- <br />oriented shops and national brands.
