<br />ACAI has been selected by the prime consultant, IES Commercial, to provide 3D/BIM Coordination and Modeling for
<br />electrical; including Power, Lighting and Security for the US Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration's
<br />South East Region Lab Facility, ACAI is part of a world class team, including Cambridge Development Group, Gaud-
<br />reau Associates, Architects of Baltimore; BE&K Building Group ( A KBR, Inc, Company); Craven Thompson and As-
<br />sociates, Inc, engineers and ECS Limited assembled to complete the GSA DEA Regional Testing Laboratory The new
<br />facility will be a state-of-the-art analytical testing laboratory constructed on approximately nine acres of land within the
<br />Beacon Lakes Business Park in Doral, Florida, The building is the result of a design process spanning 11 years between
<br />the DEA and the Army Corps of Engineers, Due to the sophistication of the facility, construction is estimated to take
<br />approximately fifteen months to complete,

<br />ACAI has been contracted by the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Fort Lauderdale to perform
<br />architectural services in the redevelopment of several properties, Projects involve both interior and exterior renovations,
<br />ACAl's work is divided into multiple phases, including due diligence, review and analysis to determine redevelopment
<br />potential, design, development of documents required for DRC review, construction documents and contract administration
<br />during construction, ACAI's first assignment under this continuing services contract involves renovations to the historic
<br />Eula Johnson House, Plans call for this former residence to be converted into a Welcome Center / NAACP Office,

<br />BROWARD COLLEGE SIMULATION LABS
<br />Davie, Florida
<br />ACAI has been selected by Broward College to design a building which will include seven state-of-the-art simulation
<br />labs each of which are equipped with human patient simulators and bedside computers; specialized hospital equipment
<br />specific to the function of each lab; internet access; digitalized video; recording cameras and TV monitors. The labs
<br />are designed to replicate realistic practice settings and will have an EMS ambulance bay, and Emergency Department,
<br />Critical Care units, Medical-Surgical unit, Trauma/Operating/Dental Room, a Labor and Delivery/Neonatal Intensive
<br />CarelPediatric unit; and open lab space to conduct large clinical drills, as well as debriefing rooms, storage space,
<br />and video recording control rooms, Each patient care unit will accommodate 6 students and an instructor, and have
<br />an adjoining control room and storage. ACAI was approved for the Programming of the project, which consisted of
<br />preparing the educational program to serve as the basis of design for the educational facilities and site improvements,
<br />The program included every space, its intended use, capacity, additional requirements, such as equipment, furniture,
<br />and special needs of Broward College, This scope required meetings with the ONner to gather and review information
<br />for the program

<br />ACAI has been retained by Arellano Construction to help explain to the owner how they will manage the planned traffic
<br />flow during construction of the new University of Miami U-Health Ambulatory Medical Center to be constructed on the
<br />busy Ponce de Leon Boulevard and adjacent Metrorail and US 1 at the Coral Gables Campus, Instead of the usual time
<br />lapse video clips and 20 colored site plans, ACAllinked the phasing plan into a project site BIM model and animated
<br />the phasing program
