CTA has carefully selected team members, <br />not only for their technical capabilities and vast park experience, but also for their availability <br />to dedicate the requisite amount of time to assure that the Project will be completed on <br />schedule. <br /> <br />CTA's Project Manager, Douglas Schultz, RLA, LEED AP, is currently the project manager as well <br />as the project landscape architect for the design and construction of three passive parks for the <br />City of Sunrise. All three of the passive parks have unique identities with two of the parks, both <br />currently under construction, <br />focused on environmental <br />education including elements <br />such as a wetland boardwalk <br />and bird island. The third park, <br />Nob Hill Road Park, currently in <br />the construction document <br />preparation phase, is a more <br />urban park providing a relaxing <br />oasis in the middle of residential <br />and commercial development. <br />This latest creation of Mr. Doug <br />Schultz exemplifies his creativity <br />with a blend of formal and <br />naturalistic elements. <br /> <br /> <br />"'""..-IC.-I) ~..'" 0..., <br /> <br />Coordination with City of Sunny Isles Beach, as well as all permitting and regulatory agencies, is <br />essential to the success of the Intracoastal Passive Park Projects. <br /> <br />Tasks will be tracked for accuracy and completion on schedule and on budget throughout the <br />design process. CTA maintains software to facilitate task follow up and tracking to ensure <br />timely completion. Staff is allocated on a regular basis to ensure that all upcoming deadlines <br />have adequate resources available to be completed on schedule. <br /> <br />Our design team has knowledge of the potential issues for passive park development and has <br />already successfully designed, permitted, Bid and provided Construction Observation for <br />several projects of similar scope. <br /> <br />The team approach to the project will be as follows: <br /> <br />1. Site investigative work will commence immediately. This will begin with meeting with the <br />City to gain a more detailed understanding of the park design expectation both by the <br />City Commission and City staff. At this meeting, we will delineate the needs and wants <br />that will dictate the scope of the project and establish a budget.
