This 200-ac. park includes a 35-acre wetland <br />conservation area, 28-acre lake system with beach & boat rental facilities; picnic <br />areas & shelters, softball fields, soccer/cricket fields, tennis & basketball courts, <br />water playground facility, & a swimming pool. CTA is providing civil engineering, <br />surveying and landscape architectural services. <br /> <br />Dania Beach Municipal Marina, Dania Beach - Principal Landscape Architect. CTA <br />provided the professional services to rehabilitate and redesign the existing Dania <br />Beach Marina including site planning, hardscape improvement plans and <br />landscape plans. The marina will have a completely new layout to maximize space <br />and revenue including a new docks and dockmasters' building. <br /> <br />City of Dania Beach Public Services Administration Building - Principal Landscape <br />Architect: The Public Services building was a complicated project due to the <br />expansive area of parking for the utility vehicles. The perimeter had to be heavily <br />landscaped to compensate for the paving area and to help screen the facility from <br />the neighboring residential properties. The landscape materials utilized were <br />100% native to provide a positive example to the community on how the City has <br />taken an effort to design with the environment in mind. <br /> <br />Strada, Coconut Creek - This project is an 8.3 acre commercial development in <br />Coconut Creek, located on the corner of Coconut Creek Parkway and Lyons Road. <br />Strada was planned, and is being developed, as a commercial village with retailers, <br />professional and medical offices, two financial institutions and a hotel. A Site Plan <br />was developed that integrates the needs of the community, the City requirements <br />and the Developer's vision. A unique feature of the plan is the "pedestrian spine" <br />that connects the various uses together and culminates in plazas on both Coconut <br />Creek Parkway and Lyons Road. CTA was also responsible for the Hardscape as <br />well as the Landscape design. <br /> <br />Banyan Bay Marina, Dania Beach - Landscape Architect: Project includes a 600 slip <br />dry stack storage building, ship store with residence, office space, restaurant and <br />parking on 10.50 acres located on the Dania Cut-Off Canal. <br /> <br />Blanche Ely High School - Design / Build 30 Classroom and Culinary Arts Lab <br />Addition - Project Landscape Architect. Construction Cost: $16 Million. Provided <br />landscape and irrigation design, permitting, prepared contract documents for the <br />30-c1assroom and Culinary Arts Lab Addition. <br /> <br />SBBC Biological Asset Review - North & North Central Schools, Broward County <br />Landscape Architect: Study done to determine market value and ecological value <br />of green resources at 24 northern schools.
