He is <br />LEED Accredited and is a licensed Landscape Architect in the State of Florida. He is <br />responsible for seeing projects from concept to detailed design and through <br />construction. Mr. Schultz has acted as the primary project manager on several public <br />and private sector construction projects. He is very knowledgeable in the design <br />process and has an extensive construction background understanding. <br /> <br />Registered Landscape Architect (July 2011 - Present), Craven Thompson & <br />Associates, Inc., Fort Lauderdale - Responsibilities include project management and <br />design for a variety of municipal and commercial projects including community parks <br />design, master-planning for housing developments and municipal utility site planning. <br />During the design process numerous presentation types are utilized including plans in <br />AutoCAD, presentation graphics, and color renderings for presentation. Open verbal <br />communication and coordination with clients and city officials is pertinent in order to <br />produce the best project. Mr. Schultz also provides on-site construction <br />administration and observation for several projects currently under construction. <br /> <br />Registered Landscape Architect (June 2002 - July 2011), EDSA, Fort Lauderdale - <br />Served as a project manager on a variety of public and private sector projects <br />including several hotel and resort projects throughout Florida. Responsibilities <br />included project design from concept through construction documentation utilizing a <br />variety of media including hand drawn conceptual drawings during the conceptual <br />design process and finalizing the design with illustrative master plans, sections and <br />sketches. Construction Documents were prepared in Auto CAD including layout <br />plans, grading plans, planting plans, lighting plans, and design details. Mr. Schultz <br />interacted regularly with clients throughout the entire design process and oversaw <br />numerous projects during the construction process. <br /> <br />RELEVANT EXPERIENCE <br /> <br />NW 44th Street Passive Park, Oakland Park Boulevard Passive Park, Nob Hill Passive <br />Park, Sunrise - The City of Sunrise acquired three tracts of land that they have <br />decided to make into community parks. Each park will have their own specific <br />amenity that will make it unique, but the hardscape components such as paving, <br />lighting, benches, walking surfaces, fences and restroom facilities will all have the <br />same character which will relate the three parks together. The 44th Street Park will <br />have a splash pad water feature for kids while the 38th Street Park will have a disc <br />golf course and Nob Hill Road Park will have a labyrinth, amphitheater and memorial <br />tree.
