Design and permitting of an 8 acre - 55 unit multi-family development <br />along the Dania Cut-off Canal in the City of Dania Beach. Design included water, <br />sewer, and drainage facilities and well as an off-site sewer extension. <br /> <br />Hollywood Hills High School Renovation, City of Hollywood - Project Engineer - <br />The design services provided for the High School included water and fire <br />protection plans. The site consisted of retro-fitting a fire protection system into <br />the existing auditorium building. The project required close coordination between <br />the School Board of Broward County, the contractor, and the architect to ensure <br />the school operations were not disturbed. All utilities for the site had to remain in <br />operation during construction. <br /> <br />Eula Johnson House, Fort Lauderdale - Project Manager - The small site was <br />designed for the City of Fort Lauderdale Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) <br />to provide offices for the NAACP. CTA was responsible for the civil engineering <br />portion of the project that included the redevelopment of an existing development <br />with the necessity for additional parking which was provided with on-street <br />parallel parking. Construction has not yet begun, but is anticipated to start within <br />the next couple of months. <br /> <br />City of Aventura Roadway Improvements - 2011, City of Aventura - City <br />Consulting Engineer - This years' capital improvements include the milling and <br />resurfacing of two of the City's major roadways NE 29th Avenue and NE 34th <br />Avenue. The resurfacing improvements also included ADA sidewalk and ramp <br />upgrades and well as minor drainage repairs needed to facilitate stormwater <br />runoff. <br /> <br />Pompano Citi Centre, Pompano Beach, Florida - Project Manager - Cost: $50 <br />Million, Redevelopment of an existing GO-acre mall. The large scale <br />redevelopment required special attention and coordination in order to maintain <br />services to existing stores which continued to remain in operation. This unique <br />project required a substantial underground drainage system to provide the <br />required water quality and flood protection that the existing mall lacked. <br /> <br />Bella Vista, Lauderdale Lakes, Florida - Project Manager - Cost: $130 Million. <br />Mixed-use community. The community will be over 450 luxury residential units, <br />ranging from 700 sq. ft. condos to 1,800 sq. ft. townhomes w/private courtyards & <br />garages. Amenities include a 5,000 sq. ft. clubhouse w/fitness center, party room, <br />indoor racquetball court, a half-court basketball court, a tot lot and an outdoor <br />pool. <br /> <br />School Board of Broward County - Southwest Bus Maintenance Facility - Project <br />Manager - Civil engineering design services for a 30-acre School Board of Broward <br />County school bus storage and maintenance facility in the City of Pembroke Pines. <br />The site consists of a fueling station, bus wash facility, administration building, and <br />bus maintenance building. <br /> <br />CRAVEN THOMPSON & ASSOCIATES, INC. <br />ENGINEERING - SURVEYING - LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE - PLANNING <br /> <br />3115 <br />
