<br />the Department of Justice, The Department of Labor, The Florida Department of Transportation, Broward County, The
<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach, The Port of Miami, and several private clients.

<br />The following is a list of selected project experience:

<br />BROWARD COUNTY RAVENSWOOD BUS MAINTENANCE FACILITY
<br />Fort Lauderdale, Florida
<br />ACAI Associates was selected by Broward County, Florida to provide programming, design and construction adminis-
<br />tration services for the replacement of facilities at the Ravenswood Bus Maintenance Facility, The 9-acre site will be
<br />reconfigured, replacing the existing 1970's structures with new state-of,the-art facilities for current and future needs.
<br />When completed, the facility will accommodate up to 150 fleet vehicles including (130) 40-foot buses and (20) 60-foot
<br />articulated buses along with staff and visitor parking, the majority of which will be provided by a new 268 ' space multi-
<br />level parking garage, The existing facilities to be replaced include an operations building, an 11-Bay bus maintenance
<br />building, a fueling and fare retrieval facility, bus washing facility and surface parking, In addition, ancillary structures
<br />include: a sanitary lift station, guard gate, a compressor building and other miscellaneous storage buildings, All of
<br />these are proposed to be removed as part of this project. As part of Broward County's ongoing efforts to provide more
<br />energy efficient, environmentally sustainable building, the new Ravenswood Maintenance Facility will pursue a LEED<
<br />Gold Certification

<br />NEWPORT FISHING PIER & RESTAURANT REPLACEMENT

<br />Prior to joining ACAI, Mr. Rakela served as Architect of Record for this fully ADA accessible facility which includes a 782'
<br />long fishing pier, with a 3,800 square foot building at the shore, housing a restaurant and lifeguard office,
