The company is comprised of both a 'Design and Consulting Division' and a <br />'Technical Services Division'. <br /> <br />East Bay Group, Inc., a marine consulting and design firm, will provide the required inspection and review <br />of the existing seawall and dock structure. The inspection will include any and all piles, sheets and the sub- <br />grade tie back system. This analysis, coupled with the geotechnical report provided by PSI, is required to <br />ensure that the existing seawall structure can accommodate the additional loading from the requested <br />decorative wall and gate structure. If any repairs are required of the existing structure, EBG will provide <br />the design guidelines for the required repairs. <br /> <br />Professional Service Industries, Inc. (PSI) is a nationally recognized leading engineering consultant <br />focused on geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing/inspections. Their staff includes <br />registered professional engineers with significant geotechnical, construction inspection and testing <br />experience. Their technicians are ACI, AWS and NICET trained/certified in their respective disciplines and <br />their laboratories are annually inspected/certified by CMEC and the FDOT. <br /> <br />Ground Hound Detection Services, Inc. Ground Hound Detection Services, Inc. (GHD) is an underground <br />utility locating, consulting and coordination firm. Underground utility locating is a continually advancing <br />industry, which utilizes growing state-of-the-art technology to accurately identify, characterize and <br />survey/map underground utilities and structures. GHD has been involved in providing subsurface utility <br />engineering services (SUE). The SUE process conforms to the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) <br />Standard CI/ ASCE 38-02 for the collection and depiction of existing subsurface utility data.
