Buick has over 11 years of experience in <br />planning, design and permitting of <br />stormwater management systems (paving, <br />grading and drainage) and water and sewer <br />connections for several municipalities in <br />South Florida. Mr. Buick has coordinated <br />stormwater management projects with <br />numerous permit agencies throughout South <br />Florida including FDEP, SFWMD, US ACOE, <br />and various County and City agencies. <br /> <br />Project Experience <br />Pinecrest SW 60th Avenue Sidewalk. <br />Chen Moore and Associates prepared sidewalk <br />expansion plans for over 2 '12 miles of <br />sidewalk within an existing wooded estate <br />residential community and within close <br />proximity to Pinecrest Elementary School. The <br />design included traffic/roadway modifications, <br />ADA grading considerations along with a <br />significant effort to balance the Miami-Dade <br />County Public Works specifications with the <br />residents' requests to protect the existing <br />mature tree canopy. The project included <br /> <br />rights-of-way within the Village of Pinecrest <br />and the City of Coral Gables. The plans were <br />permitting via both municipalities and Miami- <br />Dade County Public Works. Services included <br />bidding assistance, meetings with each <br />resident adjacent to the project, construction <br />observation/inspection and project closeout <br />services. <br /> <br />North Miami Beach NE 173rd Street Right <br />of Way Improvements. Chen Moore and <br />Associates prepa red rig ht-of-way <br />improvement plans for NE 173rd Street from <br />West Dixie Highway to NE 23rd Avenue within <br />an existing residential community. The <br />design included stormwater improvements, <br />formalizing of onstreet parking, <br />traffic/roadway modifications, sidewalks with <br />ADA grading considerations and preserving <br />and incorporating existing trees and resident <br />requests. This project also included the <br />design of a traffic circle to provide traffic <br />calming as well as streetscape beautification <br />with a stamped concrete apron and <br />landscaping. The design plans were <br />permitted via the City of North Miami Beach, <br />Miami-Dade County Department of <br />Environmental Resources Management and <br />Miami-Dade County Public Works Traffic <br />Engineering Department. Services included <br />design, permitting, bidding assistance and <br />limited construction administration services. <br /> <br />Miami Beach City Center Right-of-Way <br />Improvement Project. Chen Moore and <br />Associates is the prime consultant and was <br />responsible for providing surveying, planning, <br />geotechnical investigation, design, permitting, <br />preparation of construction documents, bid <br />and award and construction engineering and <br />inspection services for infrastructure <br />improvements within the public right of way <br />areas of the City Center neighborhood of <br /> <br />RFQ No. 12-04-04 Design and Permitting Services of the Intracoastal Parks <br /> <br />3-16 <br />
