<br />SAVINO MILLER DESIGN STUDIO (SMDS) provides professional consulting
<br />services in the fields of Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban Design,
<br />and Planning. The studio's strength lies in its multi-disciplinary experience and
<br />collaborative approach to open space design. Our work includes projects in urban
<br />design, streetscape design, site and community planning, residential, commercial,
<br />hotel/resort, and park design.
<br />
<br />SMDS began in 1988 and incorporated in 1993 under the partnership of Adriana
<br />Savino & Barry Miller. Our initial work focused on gardens, open space improvements,
<br />color schemes for Deco buildings and gate designs throughout Miami Beach's Art
<br />Deco District. Since 1993, Savino & Miller Design Studio has expanded its scope
<br />of work to include public sector projects such as Streetscape Master plans, Urban
<br />Design Guidelines, Master Plans, City Hall/Community Centers, Schools, Libraries,
<br />Parks, and private sector work including Hotels, Condominiums, Resorts and small
<br />scale Architecture/Interior Space Planning.

<br />Today, the firm is well established in South Florida where it continues to work on
<br />a diverse range of projects, varied in scale and theme. The firm's collaboration
<br />with multidisciplinary teams is exemplified in the successful completion of South
<br />Point Park and Belle Isle Park; 41st Street Bridge and Streetscape Master
<br />Planning, Espanola Way, Washington Avenue Streetscape, and Alton Road Golf
<br />Course Streetscape; Royal Palm Crowne Plaza Hotel, Costa D'Este; Aventura City
<br />Hall, Sunny Isles Beach City Hall, North Miami Beach Police Facility; Johnson &
<br />Wales University, HHH Cypress Bay School, Christopher Columbus High School,
<br />and Miami-Dade County High School Prototypes; Marquard Residence, Korge
<br />Residence, Sanchez Residence, Subotnick Residence; and affordable housing
<br />projects.

<br />Our award-winning projects are a reflection of our firm's dedication to provide design
<br />services for a diverse clients scale and type. These include the 1999 FLASLAAward
<br />of Merit for the Marquard Residence, the 2007 APA Gold Coast Chapter Award of
<br />Excellence for the Homestead Bayfront Park Master Plan, the 2010 FNGAAward of
<br />Excellence for South Pointe Park, and the 2007 FLASLA Award of Excellence and
<br />the 2007 Frederic B. Stresau Award for the Korge Residence.

<br />Current projects include Museum Park, the SLS/Ritz Plaza Hotel, Surfside
<br />Community Center, Matheson Plantation Village (Crandon Park), Aventura
<br />Professional Tower, Biscayne Pointe Neighborhood Streetscape Master Plan,
<br />Venetian Islands Streetscape Master Plan and various condominium/residential
<br />projects.
