MILLER Landscape Architect Barry R. Miller was born in <br />Miami, Florida and attended the University of Florida, where he received <br />his Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture in 1979, and Master <br />of Urban & Regional Planning in 1984. In 1982, he became a licensed <br />Landscape Architect in the State of Florida and served as Miami Section <br />Chairman of the American Society of Landscape Architects. His graduate <br />thesis work focused on regional development in Jamaica, and has since <br />worked on a various private and public setor projects. These include <br />the Aventura City Hall, Sunny Isles Beach City Hall, Loews Convention <br />Center Hotel, 41st Street Beautification Project, Coconut Grove Planning <br />Study, Washington Avenue Master Plan & Streetscape Improvements, <br />and the North Miami Beach City Hall/Police Station. He has also worked <br />extensively in the historic preservation of many buildings in the Miami <br />Beach Art Deco District. In addition to these projects, he was also <br />involved in the Bond Projects for the beautification of four Miami Beach <br />Neighborhoods: La Gorce, North Shore, Nautilus, and Venetian Islands. <br /> <br />ABOUT <br />PRINCIPALS <br /> <br />ADRIANA SAVINO Architect Adriana Savino was born in Caracas, <br />Venezuela where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Architecture in <br />1979. In 1980, she obtained an academic scholarship to study at the <br />University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Fine Arts, where she <br />received a Master's Degree in Architetcure, with a specialty in Urban <br />Design. Since moving to Miami in 1983, Adriana has worked on a diverse <br />portfolio of urban design, master plan and streetscape projects, including <br />Coral Gables Master Plan, the Hollywood Streetscape Improvements <br />/ Design Guidelines and the Puerto Careyes Resort Deevelopment in <br />Mexico. She was project designer for the University of Miami Campus <br />Plan International Competition Grand Prize Winner, while at WRT. Since <br />forming Savino & Miller Design Studio in 1993, her projects include the <br />North Miami Beach City Hall Complex & Police Facility Master Plan, Kuta <br />Beach Hotel and Club Master Plan in Bali, Indonesia, the Royal Palm <br />Hotel in Miami Beach, the Washington Avenue Streets cape Master Plan, <br />the 41 st Street Beautification and the Loews Convention Center Hotel <br />Master Plan.
