A final report was produced <br />summarizing the levels of service based on the calculated vehicular travel speeds.,,-3j <br />State Road 80 Access Management Plan, Fort Myers FL: A traffic study was prepared to improve <br />aesthetics and safety of pedestrians and motorists traveling the area. The project involved the planning <br />process for the development of an access management plan to implement a raised median along a five -lane <br />roadway. The raised median is replacing the two -way left turn lane. This was a locally administered project <br />on a state owned and maintained highway that required close coordination with the Florida Department of <br />Transportation District I representatives. The study included traffic data collection, pedestrian analysis, <br />accident analysis, coordination with City of Fort Myers Staff, and community involvement with business <br />owners and residents.
