She has more than <br />eight years of experience in planning, including preparation of comprehensive plan <br />amendments, land development and zoning codes and community redevelopment plans. <br />PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />Project Manager; As the single point of contact for clients, Ms. Tappen is fully <br />responsible for project activities and objectives. She reports the teams' progress, costs, <br />and schedule state, as well as any deviations from project milestones. She provides <br />maximum production and continuity through superior communication. <br />Comprehensive Planning; Ms. Tappen is a recognized leader and expert in Florida <br />growth management and preparation of comprehensive plan and comprehensive plan <br />amendments. Her work includes EARS, EAR -based Comprehensive Plan Amendments, <br />Capital Improvement Element Updates, Water Supply Facility Work Plans, and Public <br />School Facilities Elements. <br />Community Redevelopment; Ms. Tappen has prepared CRA Finding of Necessity <br />studies, CRA Plans, and coordinates redevelopment and revitalization projects. <br />EVALUATION AND APPRAISAL REPORTS: <br />Martin County; The EAR proposed a more streamlined approach to overly complex <br />policies in the Martin County Comprehensive Plan first by evaluating the effectiveness of <br />the Active Residential Development Preference (ARDP) Planning system and second by <br />reviewing the existing Urban Service District policies. Conducted many charrettes and <br />public meetings throughout the County to gain input from the diverse group of <br />stakeholders within Martin County. HB 697 greenhouse gas reduction requirements <br />were also evaluated. <br />St. Lucie County; CGA prepared recommendations based upon public input and vision <br />exercise for comprehensive plan amendments regarding the most significant issues <br />facing St. Lucie County including rural lands, environmental protection, and economic <br />development.
