Through combined experience in managing Florida <br />Department of Transportation (FDOT), municipal and private sector transportation projects, CGA <br />developed a mutually beneficial approach that integrates all perspectives. <br />CGA understands the importance of balancing regional transportation planning strategies with the <br />transportation, economic and environmental goals of local municipalities. Our extensive experience <br />assisting cities throughout Florida in developing Comprehensive Plans and Evaluation and Appraisal <br />Reports has allowed us to streamline the process of identifying transportation network deficiencies and <br />needs. <br />We currently provide transportation municipal services to the Cities and Towns of Loxahatchee Groves, <br />Miramar, Parkland, Greenacres, Surfside, West Park, Davie, Weston as well as FDOT District 4, District 6 <br />and the St. Lucie TPO, to name a few. <br />CGA staff members bring a real -world perspective that stems from providing comprehensive in -house <br />planning and engineering services to accommodate both public and private sector demands. This allows us <br />to explore avenues not available from most consulting firms and adds a higher level of efficiency to our <br />solutions. <br />CGA is prepared to work on an as- needed basis, whenever requested by the City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br />Our staff members are recognized as competent professionals able to provide quality services to the City <br />and we are intimately familiar with the unique challenges faced by municipalities. <br />CGA licenses the most recent versions of traffic analysis software including HCSplus, Synchro7 and <br />SimTraffic7, TSISS.1 (CORSIM), Rodel and TEAPAC. All applicable standards and /or requirements are <br />followed, including the latest editions of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), <br />American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Standards and Guidelines, <br />Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) Trip Generation Manual and Traffic Engineering Handbook, <br />Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Design Standards, City of Sunny Isles Beach and Land <br />Development Codes, and the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM). <br />`) Traffic Engineering <br />Our team has the necessary expertise in performing and reviewing corridor studies, conceptual <br />i; engineering and design alternatives analysis, major roadway improvements assessment, traffic <br />concurrency analysis, traffic review of site plans and land development applications, parking studies, <br />' methodology statements and DRIB. <br />We also perform and review traffic signal warrant studies /signal design, parking supply and demand <br />analysis, traffic safety studies, traffic calming and neighborhood traffic intrusion studies, transportation <br />grant and funding applications, comprehensive traffic planning, and intergovernmental agency <br />coordination and representation. <br />From our collective experience managing projects for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), <br />municipal, and private- sector transportation projects, we have been able to develop a unique and <br />successful approach that integrates both "agency" and "private- sector" perspectives.
