City of Sunny Isles Beach 18070 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida 33160 <br />(305) 947 -0606 phone (305) 949 -3113 Fax <br />(c) Provide a completed draft of the Book and a minimum of One Hundred (100) <br />photographs of Sunny Isles Beach to the Publisher by October 31, 2006. The <br />Author shall coordinate and solicit comments from the City Historian regarding <br />the selection of the 100 photographs to be submitted to the Publisher, however, <br />the Author shall have artistic freedom to make final selections. <br />(d) Assist the City in organizing a public Book release and signing(s) at mutually <br />agreed to locations. City shall coordinate the scheduling of the Book release and <br />signing events with the Author. The Author shall make himself available but will <br />not be compensated for his appearance(s). <br />(e) The Book shall be a minimum of 6.5" x 9 ", with no less than 128 interior pages, <br />and shall be divided into 6 or more chapters. <br />(f) The Book shall have a soft color cover with interior pages in black and white <br />print, inclusive of illustrations. <br />(g) The Book's title shall be From Sandbar to Sophistication: The Story of Sunny <br />Isles Beach, unless amended by mutual consent of the parties. <br />4. City's Obligations. <br />(a) Coordinate with the Author the delivery of photographs to Publisher. <br />(b) Purchase a minimum of One Thousand (1,000) Books from the Publisher at a <br />52% discount off the retail price of Twenty -one Dollars and Ninety -nine Cents <br />($21.99). The City will pay a total of Ten Dollars and Fifty -six Cents ($10.56) per <br />Book for a total cost of Ten Thousand Five Hundred and Sixty Dollars <br />($10,560.00) for 1,000 copies. <br />(c) Pay for the cost of shipping and handling of this purchase to one location of the <br />City's election using UPS or other comparable carrier at a cost not to exceed Four <br />Hundred and Twenty Dollars ($420.00). <br />(d) Pay for the cost of reproducing all photographs selected by the Author to be <br />submitted to the Publisher. <br />5.
