RELEVANT EXPERIENCE <br />PROJECT NAME: Chapman Field Park <br />New Pedestrian /Bike <br />Paths and Parking Lot <br />CLIENT'S NAME: Miami -Dade County <br />Park & Recreation <br />Department <br />Ms. Lydia Salas <br />TYPE OF FACILITY Pedestrian /Bike Path, <br />OR SERVICES: Access Road, Canoe <br />Ramp, and Parking Lot <br />SRS PROJECT FEE: $55,818 <br />COMPLETION DATE: September 2011 <br />KEY INDIVIDUALS Ignacio Serralta, P.E. <br />INVOLVED: Oliverio Sanchez, P.E. <br />Jean - Claude Fontaneau <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION: <br />SRS provided the engineering design, permitting <br />and construction phase services of a <br />pedestrian /bike path, access road, parking area, <br />and canoe ramp. The project is located within <br />Chapman Field Park from Old Cutler Road to <br />approximately 3/a mile east into the park. The <br />work included the geometric design of the <br />pedestrian /bike paths and parking lot, design site <br />paving, grading, and drainage plans. <br />Coordinating the work with other subconsultants <br />including Surveyors, Geotechnical, Structural <br />Engineers and environmental consultants. Our <br />scope of work also included preparing and <br />submitting permit applications and construction <br />plans for "dry -run" and `final" review by local <br />regulatory agencies including Miami -Dade County <br />Building Department, Miami -Dade Public Works <br />Dept., and DERM; as well as, Environment <br />Resources Permit (ERP) for costal construction <br />and impacts to wetlands and mangroves . <br />Construction Phase services included weekly <br />construction meetings, reviewing shop drawings, <br />responding to RFI's, providing periodic <br />construction observations, and preparing close- <br />out documents. <br />
