RELEVANT EXPERIENCE <br />PROJECT NAME: Section 26 Sewer <br />Improvements <br />CLIENT'S NAME: City of Hialeah <br />Water & Sewer Dept. <br />Mr. Armando Vidal, P.E. <br />TYPE OF FACILITY Regional Pump Station <br />OR SERVICES: <br />SRS PROJECT FEE: $672,272.00 <br />COMPLETION DATE: On -going <br />KEY INDIVIDUALS Ignacio Serralta, P.E. <br />INVOLVED: Oliverio Sanchez, P.E. <br />Jean - Claude Fontaneau <br />Delcy Munoz Percy <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION: <br />SRS prepared construction drawings for a new <br />regional pump station consisting of a submersible <br />pump station with 4 submersible pumping units <br />(215 HP) with a peak capacity of 8,880 GPM (12.8 <br />MGD) and valve chamber. The pump station site <br />included a building housing the electrical control <br />room and a storage area; an odor control unit; <br />MDWASD flow meter, emergency generator, and <br />other improvements. The project also included <br />the design of upgrade improvements to 11 <br />existing pump stations. Upgrades included <br />replacement of existing pumping units, new <br />electrical control panels, new electrical services, <br />replacement of PS piping, new valve vaults and <br />fittings, demolition of existing wet well tops and <br />reconstruction with new hatches, wet well <br />refurbishment, new telemetry systems, and <br />emergency generators with fuel tanks. <br />SRS also prepared construction drawings for <br />approximately 15,600 LF of sewer force main <br />pipelines (8 -inch to 30 -inch diameter), and 8,226 <br />LF of 48 -inch and 3,999 LF of 36 -inch <br />transmission sewer force main pipelines, including <br />48 -inch pipe canal crossing. <br />WGINEERING,INC. <br />
