<br />Mr. Ignacio Serralta has more than
<br />twenty years of experience in civil
<br />engineering planning, design and
<br />management for a wide range of
<br />public works, site development and
<br />infrastructure projects. He has
<br />been responsible for the design of
<br />roadway improvements, storm
<br />drainage systems, water and
<br />sanitary sewers transmission
<br />pipelines, as well as reservoirs and
<br />pump stations. He is familiar with
<br />the many facets of public and
<br />private project management and
<br />has served as Project
<br />Manager /Engineer on many
<br />projects.
<br />PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
<br />• Master Consultant from November 2001 through December 2005 for the
<br />FEMA/DORM Restoration Project. The project was a jointly funded effort
<br />supported by the Federal Government, the State of Florida and Miami -Dade
<br />County and was intended to mitigate problems that arose as a result of
<br />Hurricane Irene (October 1999) and the "No Name Storm" (October 2000). As
<br />Master Consultant we oversaw the construction efforts of nine (9) contractors
<br />performing work with an estimated construction value of $35,000,000.00.
<br />Additionally, we were responsible for the coordination of approximately twelve
<br />(12) engineering design consultants, eight (8) geotechnical firms and nine (9)
<br />land surveying firms involved in the design of approximately four hundred
<br />ninety (490) mitigation projects. These projects ranged from drainage
<br />improvements to total roadway reconstruction, canal dredging, culvert
<br />cleaning, and canal bank restoration. Finally we were responsible for all
<br />document control related to these projects, approval of payment for design,
<br />survey, geotechnical reports and construction in accordance with FEMA
<br />required guidelines.
<br />■ Principal In- Charge for the engineering design work of Miami -Dade
<br />County Public Works Department for the widening of Miller Drive between SW
<br />152"d Avenue and SW 158th Avenue (3,250 LF).
<br />■ Project Civil Engineer for the City of Hialeah reconstruction of several
<br />existing roadways totaling over 26 miles.
<br />• Project Engineer for the design, permitting and construction phase
<br />services of several County Parks as part of a miscellaneous engineering
<br />contract including Chapman Field Park, Three Lakes Park, Crandon Marina,
<br />Crandon Golf Course, Miller's Pond Park, Kendall Indian Hammocks Park,
<br />Tropical Park Equestrian Center, Spanish Lakes Park, Southern Estates Park,
<br />Eureka Park, Eureka Villas Parks, Deerwood Park and Reach Park.
<br />EDUCATION ff Principal In- Charge for the engineering design of a new City of Hialeah
<br />regional sewer pump station. Design work included preparing hydraulic
<br />Bachelor of Science in calculations and construction documents for 8.43 MGD regional/booster sewer
<br />Civil Engineering, pump station consisting of a two -story wet/dry well building with four 470 -HP
<br />California State University, pumps, electrical control systems, telemetry, odor control unit and backup
<br />Los Angeles, California generator.
<br />LICENSES Project Manager for the engineering design work of several large land
<br />development projects totaling over 900 acres including Vizcaya at Kendall,
<br />Registered Civil Engineer, Hialeah Palms, Century Prestige, Mediterranea, Bluewaters and Vicencia.
<br />State of California, These projects included contracting and coordinating all topographical surveys
<br />Lic. No. C47828 and geotechnical investigations, all environmental studies including phase I
<br />environmental audit, wetland mitigation reports, secondary and cumulative
<br />Registered Engineer, impact reports and preparation of ERP permit; civil design of on -site paving,
<br />State of Florida, grading, drainage and water and sewer systems; design of regional sewer
<br />Lic. No. PE45609 pump station and force; design of off -site water and sewer systems.
<br />Certified Uniform Building Code 0 Principal In- Charge for the master planning and engineering design of
<br />Inspector (UBCI) water and sewer infrastructure required to serve the newly annexed area to
<br />the City of Hialeah.
