Killian Hill Multi-Use Path | 2-2 Planning and Urban Design | 2-2 <br />Atkins | City of Sunny Isles Beach, RFQ No. 12-04-020006.027944.0512 <br />Jan Phyl Park Master Plan <br />Polk County, Florida <br />Atkins provided park engineering, design, <br />and planning services on a task-order basis <br />through a master consulting agreement with <br />Polk County. Services provided as needed <br />under this contract included conceptual <br />studies, management plans, feasibility <br />studies, preliminary assessments, cost <br />estimates and analyses, park and facility <br />design (design and engineering services), <br />site survey work, and project/construction <br />administration assistance and management. <br />The first task order under this contract was <br />the Jan Phyl Park Master Plan, which is an <br />existing 20-acre community park, of which <br />approximately 8 acres had previously been <br />developed and were in need of renovation/ <br />replacement. The park amenities included <br />baseball and softball fields, racquetball <br />courts, playground, restrooms, concession <br />stand, basketball court, and parking. <br />Atkins provided a complete renovation <br />plan, with cost estimates and phasing for <br />renovation and construction based on input <br />received through public meetings, staff <br />input, and opportunities and constraints <br />analysis.
