www.bermelloajamil.com <br />INTUR Corporate Offi ce Building, Tegucigalpa City, Honduras - Project Manager for a 13-story offi ce <br />building that includes ground level commercial space, 5 levels of parking, 4 levels of offi ce space, 3 <br />levels of corporate offi ces and an Executive Club totaling 19,337 Square Meters. Amenities include <br />terraces, a Heliport Pad, a Club Room with catering kitchen, TV seating/viewing areas and gym. <br />CERHON Corporate Headquarters, San Pedro Sula, Honduras - Project Manager. Design of a new <br />Corporate Offi ce Headquarter Building to be located in the commercial and industrial campus of <br />CERHON. B&A carried out a program analysis that identifi ed physical space requirements for each <br />department; functional relationships, support functions needs, and open space requirements and <br />relationships. As part of the programming, B&A carried out a thorough site analysis to identify site <br />conditions and constraints and proposed the future building location. <br />City of Homestead Urban Design Consultant, Homestead, Florida - Acted as the City’s Urban Design <br />consultant to the Planning and Zoning Board from 2002 to 2007. Mr. Sanchez was responsible for the <br />urban design review of all new developments in the City which was mostly east of the Homestead <br />Extension of the Florida Turnpike. Other City projects that Mr. Sanchez directed included: <br /> • Commercial Development Regulations <br /> • Signage Regulations <br /> • Transportation Plan Urban Design Element <br /> • Downtown Historic District Master Plan (On-going) <br />TRANSPORTATION PLANNING EXPERIENCE <br />Fisher Island Ferry Terminal Study, Miami Beach, Florida - Study of the development of a multi use <br />passenger and vehicle ferry terminal to serve traffi c from Miami Beach to Fisher Island. The project <br />addressed providing for multi-modal transportation access to the terminal, the inclusion of parking <br />facilities for island employees and visitors, the inclusion of mixed use and the design of the berthing <br />areas in relationship to the overall site plan. <br />Cruise Ports of Bermuda Master Plan Multi Modal Water Taxi Stations, Bermuda - Design of multi modal <br />stations to address water taxi, cruise and land transportation transfers. Addressed various scale of <br />development from a large multi modal station in the capital, Hamilton, to smaller stations in the outlying <br />communities. <br />Baylink Light Rail Connection, Miami, Florida - Development of all station area designs for over <br />15 stations for the light rail to serve Miami and Miami Beach. The project included the station <br />design, the analysis of the surrounding context, the location of the station and an extensive public <br />involvement process. <br />State Road 7 Multimodal Station Area Planning and Design, Broward County, Florida - Development <br />of the analyses and plans for the design of the State Road 7 Busway North Broward Station planning <br />and design, including analysis of surrounding context area, bus access, proposed residential and <br />offi ce joint use development, and ancillary parking facilities. <br />North Corridor Transit Alternatives, Station Area Planning, Miami-Dade County, Florida - Project <br />Manager for stations/station area development for proposed transit corridor’s Draft Environmental <br />Impact Statement (DEIS). Forged consensus-driven conceptual plans for fi ve potential station <br />areas along proposed alignment assessed potential for joint development and outlined strategies <br />for incorporating private development as a catalyst. With this emphasis on joint and associated <br />development, plus incorporating the principles of Livable Communities Initiative and Transit-Oriented <br />Design Development, the project caught the eye of the Federal Transit Agency as a national model <br />of good planning. <br />Alfredo C.
