www.bermelloajamil.com <br />West Bay Drive Streetscape, Largo, Florida - Project Manager responsible for the redesign of the primary <br />commercial corridor, West Bay Drive, traversing the downtown Largo area. Mr. Hollingworth was also <br />responsible for the redesign of the roadway layout including parkways, new landscaped medians, <br />lighting, paving, cross walks, entry signage and adjacent off street City owned parking areas. The <br />project was designed to stimulate the redevelopment of adjacent underutilized retail properties and <br />encourage a more pedestrian friendly environment to the existing vehicular dominated streetscape. <br />SouthCreek Neighborhood Landscape Improvements Plan, Coconut Creek, Florida - Project <br />Manager responsible for planning and design of the streetscape, signage, traffi c calming, and <br />general neighborhood landscape improvements. Mr. Hollingworth held neighborhood meetings <br />which played a key role in gathering information about concerns and preferences from the <br />community. The information will be used in the planning and design of the streetscapes, signage, <br />traffi c calming and general neighborhood landscape improvements. The City has commissioned a <br />new design for the main roadway bordering South Creek and B&A will build on the improvements <br />proposed in that plan to enhance the quality of the gateways into the neighborhood. <br />Bern’s Park and DeSoto Avenue Streetscape, Tampa, Florida* - Project Manager responsible for the <br />development of a passive open space on an underutilized parcel of land at the gateway to the <br />historic district of Hyde Park. In addition, Mr. Hollingworth developed a new streetscape program <br />along DeSoto Avenue which focused on the preservation of existing oak trees while reducing the <br />ongoing maintenance costs of the central median. Working with the neighborhood and City Public <br />Works, the streetscape program has been implemented and successfully created a dramatic <br />improvement to the visual quality of the neighborhood. <br />Clearwater Redevelopment Plan, Clearwater, Florida - Project Manager responsible for creating an overall <br />Redevelopment Plan for the downtown area including open space, mixed use and a comprehensive <br />traffi c plan. Work was conducted through a series of workshops utilizing a visual preference survey which <br />allowed residents to actively participate in the planning process. The plan was approved and adopted <br />and is now being implemented based on various components of the Master Plan. <br />NW 107th Avenue Streetscape, Doral, Florida - Project Manager responsible for the landscape design <br />of a two mile section of NW 107th Avenue in the City. The plan will continue the streetscape theme utilized <br />in other areas of the City but provide a unique character and design for this newly widened roadway. The <br />assignment includes presentations to the City and neighborhood groups bordering the roadway. <br />Kate Jackson Park, Tampa, Florida* - Project Manager responsible for the development of a master <br />plan covering the complete renovation of this park located in the historic residential neighborhood <br />of Hyde Park in Tampa Florida. The program, which included a new interactive fountain, expanded <br />playground and improved open space areas, was developed as per the City Mayor’s Beautifi cation <br />Program in collaboration with neighborhood residents and the Parks and Recreation Department. <br />Interstate 4, Widening Project, Hillsborough County, Florida* - Project Manager responsible for the <br />design of the landscape improvements along a 2 mile section. Mr. Hollingworth coordinated with <br />three other consulting teams to develop a landscape plan that created a continuous landscape <br />concept throughout the length of the roadway improvement area. <br />MASTER PLANNING & LANDSCAPE PROJECTS <br />Mina Rashid, Dubai, UAE - Project Manager responsible for the master planning and Development <br />Control Regulations (DCR) outlining the urban and architectural design guidelines of this new 1200 acre <br />waterfront community. The total size of the development is approximately 21,000,000 SM consisting of <br />mixed-use offi ce and residential, retail, and hotels, incorporating both land and water base mass transit <br />systems. The project is designed to be the fi rst Blue-Certifi ed community in the world and will therefore <br />call for the use of state-of-the-art technology and design methods to ensure environmental compliance. <br />Randy P.
