Phase 3 – Construction Documents <br />B&A will prepare a set of construction documents that will include both drawings and specifi cations. <br />Phase 4 – Permitting and Bidding Phase <br />B&A’s role will be to comply with all required procedures during the bidding portion of the project collect <br />and respond to all RFI’s via addendums and review all submitted bids and assist the City as needed <br />regarding the recommendation of the most qualifi ed bidder. In conjunction with this phase, the project <br />documents will be issued for permitting to all applicable agencies. B&A will assist in responding to all <br />permit comments. <br />Phase 5 – Construction Administration Phase <br />B&A will provide general oversight of the construction and reasonable assurances based on site and <br />progress observation that the construction is being prosecuted in accordance with the prepared plans <br />and specifi cations. <br />Phase 6 - Public Outreach <br />We believe that public outreach and consensus building is one of the most important elements of this <br />assignment. We have provided community outreach for numerous major projects in South Florida <br />including the City of Miami Beach Parks Master Plan. B&A’s community consensus building capabilities <br />coupled with its design expertise came into play in the development of the Pompano Beach Boulevard <br />Master Plan where a parking structure and beach side improvements including the construction of a new <br />park was proposed. <br />Phase 7 - General Planning Services <br />B&A will provide general planning services as may be defi ned and required by the City of Sunny Isles beach. <br />The necessary studies and approach to each specifi c service will be provided prior to commencement <br />of the work. <br />Phase 8 - Studies <br />B&A has performed many different planning studies throughout the years. One of our most recent and <br />successful was the writing of the TIGER II Grant for the Port of Miami in 2010; an endeavor that resulted in the <br />federal government awarding a $22 million grant for construction of the Rail Reconnection and Intermodal <br />Project.
