1.12 Budget / Rough Order of Magnitude - Prepare a preliminary budget estimate. <br />1.13 Schedule - B&A will prepare an updated schedule for implementation including regulatory <br />permitting. <br />1.14 Executive Summary - Develop a written report, or “Program Statement,” based upon the information <br />gathered. This report will include a summary of goals and objectives, an assessment, list of defi ciencies, <br />a description of alternatives to be considered, a description of the recommended approach and a <br />schedule. <br />1.15 Internal meetings - B&A will facilitate meetings with key City staff as needed to develop basic <br />components and planning of building program, including the City’s standard building systems, equipment <br />and materials. <br />1.16 External meetings - Attend coordination meetings with City staff and any pertinent external <br />agencies as required to determine and gain conceptual approval from all pertinent entities as required. <br />1.17 Permitting Strategy - B&A will develop a comprehensive permitting strategy and initiate discussions <br />with Building Permit Review offi cials on code issues / clarifi cations. <br />1.18 Submission - Prepare and submit six (6) sets and electronic format of Schematic Design Documents, <br />including specifi cation outline, cost estimates and schedule to the City staff for review and approval. <br />Phase 2 – Design Development <br />2.1 Design Development - The Team will prepare a design development submission. <br />2.2 Meetings - Facilitate meetings with City staff to develop Design Development Documents. If <br />agreed, B&A will meet to obtain sign-off. <br />2.3 Utilities - Coordinate with private utilities and service providers. <br />2.4 Testing - Conduct tests and investigations to prepare geotechnical reports necessary for the Design <br />Development. <br />2.5 Operation & Maintenance Plan - Update the preliminary Operation and Maintenance Plan and <br />cost estimate for proposed improvements. <br />2.6 Submittal - Prepare and submit six (6) sets and electronic format of Design Development Documents <br />to the City staff for review and approval. <br />2.7 Revisions - Respond in writing to all City comments.
