Our team is capable and qualified to design all aspects of MEP/FP systems for renovations, additions, and new facilities with knowledgeable emphasis on codes and energy conservation requirements. Our staff is structured with many qualified and experienced Project Managers that complete their projects on-time and within budget. Each Project Manager has Engineers, Designers and Cad Tech staff who are assigned to a specific project. SGM also currently has Certified Commissioning Agents on staff committed to providing quality Commissioning Services from early in the design phase, through construction and into the warranty period. The staff committed to your project will be immediately available for your assignment and the depth of staff will provide support when necessary to handle multiple projects concurrently. The most important aspect of availability will be centered on our Key Management Staff so that the overall program management controls can be implemented quickly and efficiently. SGM has a team of highly qualified licensed engineers on staff capable of completing projects from design through construction administration. SGM’s team is multi-disciplined, with experience in design engineering, construction observation, studies and other professional general electrical and mechanical engineering services. SGM understands that projects under continuing services contracts are often short fused, complicated renovations requiring minimal downtime of the facility. SGM has an understanding of the requirements needed for this contract. Our engineers understand that at any moment we may receive an urgent phone call asking us to immediately visit a job site and troubleshoot a problem which might result in the closure of a critical facility unless we respond with solutions immediately. We also understand that we need to be readily available at all times during the construction phase of one of our projects to address problems as they arise. SGM understands that this contract deals with existing buildings spread throughout the City. Therefore, safety and advanced planning are the most important factors associated with this contract. Project Scope The Continuing Contract for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Services provides the City of Sunny Isles Beach with a flexible, convenient means of receiving professional engineering services, including design, engineering, analysis and inspection professional services, on a various City projects. Project Types Various types of projects will be administered under this contract including, but not limited to: existing buildings such as offices, conference rooms, libraries, Auditorium / Theatres, utility plant/ facilities, police and fire departments, parks and recreation facilities, parking lots, community centers, and the upgrade and modification to existing exterior and interior lighting of City facilities. Specialized Skills Available SGM is all aware of the City’s design standards, purchasing procedures, contractor selection process, permitting process and close-out documents.
