<br />Mr. Hayner has 10 years of experience in HVAC engineering analysis, design and
<br />construction administration for a variety of building types including governmental,
<br />educational, and commercial facilities. Mr. Hayner has experience in the
<br />commissioning management plan of mechanical systems including, but not limited
<br />to, fire protection systems, all types and sizes of HVAC systems, high temperature
<br />hot water boilers, piping, fluid systems, chilled water, compressed gas systems,
<br />elevators, hoists and cranes, specialized mechanical equipment and controls
<br />(including direct digital control (DDC), and programmable logic controllers (PLC), as
<br />well as facilities to house the mechanical equipment. Mr. Hayner is well
<br />experienced in designing integrated city/campus-wide Building Automation
<br />Systems. George’s knowledge of designing innovative solutions to accelerated
<br />return on energy efficiency includes design of Energy Recovery Wheels for Child
<br />Development Centers on MacDill and Hurlburt U.S. Air Force Bases. Additionally,
<br />Mr. Hayner has knowledge of EPA Energy Star Portfolio Manager.

<br />Project Experience
<br />
<br />On-Going, Flagler County Courthouse Annex Sherriff’s Department
<br />Renovations and Energy Efficient Upgrades, Bunnell, FL – Mr. Hayner is a
<br />Mechanical Engineer for the renovations to accommodate the needs of the sheriff’s
<br />operations. Renovations include the following: Add fire sprinkler system,
<br />replacement of the main fire alarm panel, repair exterior windows, confirm fire rated
<br />separation between Historic Courthouse and Annex, replace A/C ductwork, VAV
<br />units and controls, provide a ducted return system, test and balance the new
<br />system, replace all lighting with energy efficient fixtures and lighting controls,
<br />replace electrical power distribution system, new communications data and
<br />technologies equipment, renovate all restrooms to ADA standards, replace all
<br />suspended acoustical ceilings and grid with new efficient acoustic values, replace
<br />all water heaters with energy efficient units.
<br />2011, George Mason University High Efficiency Boiler Replacement, Fairfax,
<br />VA – Mr. Hayner is a Mechanical Engineer for this boiler replacement. SGM
<br />created demolition drawings for the existing package boiler and connecting fuels,
<br />system hot water and make-up water piping and boiler breaching. SGM created
<br />demolition drawings for the electrical connections and controls. SGM created
<br />construction drawings for the installation of Hi-efficiency modular boilers, redundant
<br />hot water pumps, and replacement expansion tank and updated controls. SGM
<br />created a sequence of operations for cycling of the new boilers with a reset
<br />schedule dictated by outside air and supply water temperatures. SGM created a
<br />mechanical and electrical book spec with General Conditions and Front End
<br />documents by the Architect and University personnel respectively. SGM created an
<br />approximate construction cost estimate. SGM provided construction administration
<br />for the project duration for review of submittals and RFI responses. SGM attended
<br />three construction meetings at owner’s request. SGM performed substantial and
<br />final completion inspections and review close-out documents. SGM provided an
<br />electronic DWG As built drawing from the contractor’s red-line drawings.
<br />2011, UCF, Apollo Community Residents – High efficient HVAC Renovation to
<br />Osceola, Lake Hall, Polk Hall, and Volusia Hall Upgrade and Replacements for
<br />Energy Savings, Orlando, FL – Mr. Hayner provided Mechanical services for
<br />University of Central Florida’s Osceola Hall, Volusia Hall, Polk Hall and Lake Hall,
<br />which included the upgrading of HVAC, electrical, architectural, fire protection, and
<br />plumbing systems. HVAC included the installation of new chilled water distribution
<br />piping, new air handling units and central control system. Electrical included a new
<br />power distribution system and lighting with emergency back-up. Fire protection with
<br />central plant activation notification. Fire alarm system with central plant alarm
<br />notification. Architectural with new door, windows, and room upgrades. Plumbing
<br />with new hot and cold water distribution, fixtures and high efficiency hot water
<br />generating system .
