Mr. Mundell
responsibilities included all aspects of electrical design for health care, education,
commercial and military facilities. As an experienced team leader, he is dedicated
to delivering quality designs tailored to clients’ needs.
As Lead Electrical Engineer, Mr. Mundell will coordinate all electrical design
requirements with design team and end-user personnel to insure all systems meet
the standards and requirements of the specific facility.

Mr. Mundell has designed a variety of lighting, power and telecommunications
projects for use in a multitude of facilities ranging from government, health care,
education, commercial and retail operations. He is very familiar with IESNA
standards as well as the practices associated with high performance sustainable
lighting designs as described in the USGBC. Mr. Mundell’s expertise is in fire
alarm, systems, power distribution and lighting protection systems. Daily
capabilities included load calculations; photometric calculations and equipment
sizing for buildings. As well as construction administration tasks such as processing
drawings, proposals, specifications, RFI’s, and site visits during the construction
phase. Mr. Mundell has extensive experience with electrical renovations,
alterations and additions for existing municipal facilities.

Mr. Mundell is skilled in the design of electrical systems including, but not limited to,
uninterruptible power systems (UPS), fire alarm and detection systems, medium
and low voltage AC power systems, Electronic Security Systems (ESS), , computer
power conditioning, grounding, lightning protection, lighting control systems,
emergency power, hazardous area electrical installations, control and monitoring
systems, cable tray systems, communications raceway systems, and
communications premise wiring.

Project Experience
2012, Flagler County Courthouse Annex Sherriff’s Department Renovations
and Energy Efficient Upgrades, Bunnell, FL – Mr. Mundell is an Electrical
Engineer on the renovations to accommodate the needs of the sheriff’s operations.
Renovations include the following: Replacement of the main fire alarm panel,
confirm fire rated separation between Historic Courthouse and Annex, replace all
lighting with energy efficient fixtures and lighting controls, replace electrical power
distribution system, new communications data and technologies equipment,
renovate all restrooms to ADA standards, replace all suspended acoustical ceilings
and grid with new efficient acoustic values, replace all water heaters with energy
efficient units.
2011, Town of Palm Beach Street, Street Lighting, Town of Palm Beach, FL –
Mr. Mundell is an Electrical Engineer for this project. SGM was responsible for the
replacement and relocation of 46 street lights. SGM coordinated with their facilities
maintenance staff to understand their needs, standards, determine a realistic
schedule for the design/engineering effort, meeting notes, probable construction
cost estimate and finally obtained technical cut sheets of equipment desired such
that aesthetic uniformity was achieved in the type of light pole/fixture installed.
2010, Osceola County Sherriff’s Department Fleet Management Center,
Kissimmee, FL – Mr. Mundell was an Electrical Engineer for this 32,000 SF facility
that was converted from an automobile dealership. Mr. Mundell’s design for this
project included lighting and receptacles in offices, data outlets, upgrade and
modification to exterior lighting, replacement of plumbing fixtures, addition of
loading dock, and the addition of a vehicle fueling station. An emergency generator
and distribution system was designed and installed for all HVAC loads, office
lighting and receptacles, telecommunications equipment, multiple vehicle lift
stations, and the fueling station.
YEARS EXPERIENCE:9
With SGM since 2006

EDUCATION
Bachelor of Science, Electrical
Engineering
University of Central Florida, 2004

REGISTRATIONS
Registered Professional Engineer:
Electrical – FL #70700
