Palmetto Bay Library and Community Center, Palmetto Bay, FL The Village of Palmetto Bay Community Center and Library at Bayside Park is the first significant new building for the Village. The two -story Community Center will offer a meet- ing and performance space for events, lectures, and community activities overlooking a preserved mangrove area and the Biscayne Bay Aquatic Preserve. The first story will be dedicated to thea- tre space for special performances and serve as an additional outdoor area for lectures, workshops and children's activities. The Library will function as a neighborhood library, and will be located next to a future environmentally - oriented park. City of Sunny Isles Beach Page 11 Flamingo Park Master Plan and Tennis Center, Miami Beach, FL WA has been commissioned to provide a new master plan and architecture and engineering services for a new 5,000 SF tennis center for the 33 acre historic Flamingo Park. There will be a new tennis center with 17 hydro grid courts, a new restroom building, new handball courts, new tot lot, a new water feature at the cen- ter of the park, and new lighting, fencing, land- scaping and shade trees along pedestrian prome- nades. WA conducted a design charrettes with citizens of Miami Beach to solicit input on the new master plan.
