A quality control program will be instituted at the onset of a project and an independent quality con- trol professional (not involved in the day -to -day design or development of the project) will be as- signed. The quality control coordinator will carefully review design and documentation at key milestones and offer an unbiased and unencumbered review. Similar to accepted value engineering procedures, this quality control process will provide a viable, in- dependent review and critique. This approach will separate the review and coordination process from the day -to -day execution of work and will, there- fore, enhance the production of accurate, definitive construction documents.
