n <br />n <br />n <br />n <br />n <br />n <br />fl <br />f� <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />RFQ# 12 -04 -01 CAL I ' A <br />Professional Architectural and Engineering Services <br />Mr. Calderon understands that the City of Sunny Isles Beach requires the consultant to be able to <br />provide an as on- needed basis services that include but not limited to traffic studies, parking studies, <br />traffic data collection, traffic and transportation engineering, data analysis, preparation of conceptual <br />improvement plans, present reports and recommendation through final traffic engineering reports that <br />will provide recommendations for City officials and respond to public concerns. <br />Mr. Calderon's administration and management of this contract above all others is based on the <br />following elements: <br />• Complete understanding of the technical requirements and focus in a single area of interest <br />• Objective to supply and expedite concurrent or multiple activities <br />• Organization to provide flexibility <br />• Experienced staff to resolve unique issues through the most innovative solutions <br />• Staff that will be available day /night to meet with stakeholders at their request <br />• First hand access to state -of -the -art technology <br />• Sheer resolution and commitment to serve the City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br />As a result, Mr. Calderon's organizational management approach at CALTRAN is based on a pro- <br />active leadership that strives for customer satisfaction, achievement and success. Mr. Calderon's is <br />conscientious that timeliness and effectiveness to response to each of task within is imperative for this <br />important contract without overextending administrative costs. <br />Mr. Calderon considers that an essential element for this contract is to maintain direct lines of <br />communication that will allow the sharing of ideas, experience, technology, and sensitivity to current <br />economical constrains without affecting quality of services render to City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br />Quality Control: Mr. Calderon recognizes <br />the importance of a superior quality product <br />and the need of a systematic QA/QC plan to <br />assure excellence and client satisfaction. Mr. <br />Calderon's Quality Control Plan is based on <br />the ability to provide the finest product that <br />will be extensively reviewed for facts, <br />evidence, errors and omissions through a <br />Total Quality Management Strategy. A <br />detailed QA/QC plan is applied to each task <br />to identify, coordinate responsibilities, and <br />describe the procedures and standards to be <br />utilized. This plan facilitates independent <br />checks, reviews, verification of all data, as <br />O <br />- <br />well as, standard compliance for the proper <br />coordination, and production documents as part of the contract. <br />Mr. Calderon's Q/A and Q/C plan includes as a minimum the following elements to ensure that the <br />production meets accuracy and timeliness: Complete understanding of the scope, verification of <br />' accuracy of data and field procedures, establishment of check and balances, guidance of staff in <br />compliance with QA/QC procedures, verification of updated standards and methodologies, integrated <br />reviews of all work levels, field observations, documentation, guidelines, plans, goals, etc. through an <br />internal monitoring and audits of production. <br />151 Page <br />
