<br />Ms. Sonneborn has over 20 years of planning experience that includes a variety of public
<br />and private sector projects. Areas of expertise include regulatory planning, long -range
<br />planning, visioning and redevelopment, comprehensive planning, downtown master planning,
<br />Developments of Regional Impacts (DRIB), Transit Oriented Design (TOD), rezonings,
<br />due diligence studies, land use and zoning analysis for eminent domain projects, and public
<br />involvement/coordination. Ms. Sonneborn's duties include business development and
<br />management, project management, preparation and presentation of projects throughout the
<br />regulatory processes, public meeting coordination and facilitation, and project coordination
<br />with public and private clients.
<br />RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
<br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE, EVALUATION AND APPRAISAL REPORT
<br />(EAR), AND LDC RE -WRITE FOR MONROE COUNTY, FL: Monroe County has
<br />contracted with Keith and Schnars to update their Comprehensive Plan Policy and Technical
<br />Documents to the 2011-2030 planning timeframe; the last update occurred in 1995.
<br />Additionally Keith and Schnars has prepared the EAR for the County. The final phase of this
<br />project is to realign the LDC sections to make it more user friendly, incorporate modern
<br />planning strategies, and implement the Goals, Objectives and Policies of the Comprehensive
<br />Plan. As Director of Planning, Ms. Sonneborn oversees the project. In addition to overseeing
<br />the project, Ms. Sonneborn has been part of the public involvement team, working with
<br />citizens and community groups and maintaining the project website that keeps the citizens of
<br />the County informed and up -to -date on all important meetings and milestone events.
<br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN CREATION, BALDWIN COUNTY, AL: This was the
<br />creation of a Comprehensive Plan for the largest geographical County in Alabama, with a
<br />wide range of characteristics from the southern Gulf Coast area to the northern more rural
<br />areas. Their Director of Planning had previously worked in Florida and knew the importance
<br />of a Florida -based Comprehensive Plan. The County sought the services of a Florida firm to
<br />bring their experience in comprehensive planning to Baldwin County. Public involvement was
<br />key in this 18 month process. Ms. Sonneborn served as the Project Manager and provided
<br />facilitation for multiple public workshops with stakeholders, County agencies, community
<br />groups and citizens to define the major community issues. Services included preparation
<br />of all elements of the "Horizon 2025" Comprehensive Plan; a separate Data, Inventory and
<br />Analysis document; and creation of a new Future Land Use Map based upon Smart Growth
<br />principles.
<br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE, JACKSON COUNTY, FL: Ms. Sonneborn served
<br />as the Project planner for the Evaluation, Appraisal and Report (EAR) process for Jackson
<br />County, Florida.
<br />DOWNTOWN MASTER PLAN, TIFTON, GA: A visioning process and preparation of
<br />a downtown redevelopment plan. Project management services include facilitation of public
<br />visioning workshops; coordination with Downtown Development Authority; Master Plan
<br />preparation; implementation strategies; and funding sources.
<br />DOWNTOWN WATERFRONT MASTER PLAN, BAINBRIDGE, GA: Ms. Sonneborn
<br />led the visioning process for this downtown Master Plan for the City of Bainbridge, Georgia.
<br />This Master Plan encompassed 135 acres and provided improvements to City -owned land
<br />along the Flint River and incorporated pedestrian connectivity to the City's downtown core
<br />area. Services include facilitation of public visioning meetings and project management of this
<br />master plan project.
